Pakistan Cricket unveils jersey for T20 World Cup, rightly mentions India instead of UAE

Pakistan Cricket team h unveiled ir official jersey for upcoming edition of ICC T20 World Cup in Oman and UAE a few days ago and now, y have once again unveiled ir official team jerseys after making necessary changes this time around.

In a video posted by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday, y went on to launch ir tritional green jerseys for showpiece event but more importantly, y decided to abide by governing body of world cricket International Cricket Council (ICC)'s rule by mentioning ‘ICC Men’s T20 World Cup India 2021’ inste of UAE. India is host nation of seventh edition of T20 World Cup.

Last week, Pakistan decided to print UAE 2021 on ir jersey inste of India. Inste of mentioning 'ICC Men's T20 World Cup India 2021' as most of teams have printed on ir jerseys, Pakistan's jerseys re  'ICC Men's T20 World Cup UAE 2021' as per a social media leak. A picture of Pakistan captain Babar Azam wearing special jersey for upcoming T20 WC became viral on social media.

Noneless, PCB decided to make necessary changes just a couple of days before tournament kicked off, and reby, avoided being called out by  Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) because as per rules, all teams need to mention name of ICC event and hosts on top right of ir jerseys.

Pakistan are set to face defending champions West Indies and South Africa during ir pre-tournament warm-up matches on Monday and Wednesday in Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively. Babar Azam-led side will kick off ir ICC T20 World Cup 2021 campaign against arch-rivals India next Sunday i.e. October 24 at Dubai International Stium.
