It's first time in Test history that a team has lost by an innings after scoring 500-plus in first innings. Shan Masood-led Pakistan side lost Multan Test against England by an innings and 47 runs. With loss, Pakistan has extended ir losing streak to six. This also happens to be ir seventh loss at home in last nine Tests. On day four and five, English bowlers were spot on with ir line and lengths on a pitch that didn't offer much to bowlers at all.

It was a Test match to remember for a number of reasons. 

Harry Brook became first England batter in 34 years to hit a triple-century in Tests, as his record-breaking partnership with Joe Root put visitors on cusp of a big win over Pakistan on Day Four.

Brook smashed a remarkable 317 and shared a partnership of 454 with Root, who me 262, as England declared ir innings at a whopping 823/7, fourth-highest team total in Tests. Brook and Root also became first England duo to have two 200-run stands toger and ninth pair from any country to achieve such a feat.

454-run partnership between Brook and Root is now fourth-highest of all-time in Test cricket, as well as highest-ever partnership in longer format for England.

On final day of game, England needed merely four wickets to win game. Jack Leach came up with goods with ball as he ended up with four wickets.
