'Hum Se Baat Kare': PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi Requests BCCI To Voice Concerns On Champions Trophy 2025

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: future of Champions Trophy which is to be hosted by Pakistan seems to be extremely bleak. With a tug-of-war going on between Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Champions Trophy continues to snowball into crisis. India have maintained a firm stance on ir participation and have refused to visit Pakistan for upcoming ICC event. A few days back, India h written to ICC and h clarified ir stance.
Pakistan Cricket Board very well knows that no ICC Trophy is possible without India as y are biggest attraction. Despite knowing it, PCB have refused for a 'Hybrid Model' and have been persisting for tournament to be played in Pakistan. As per recent developments PCB has asked BCCI to voice ir concerns and reasons behind India's decision to not travel to Pakistan.

Mohsin Naqvi Requests BCCI To Allow India Travel To Pakistan
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi finally decided to break silence on controversies related to Champions Trophy and Pakistan's stance on it. PCB supremo visited Gdafi Stium to inspect venue's upgration before Champions Trophy which is just few months away from now. PCB chief did not shy away from answering any questions. He also questioned ICC's credibility on entire matter.

Naqvi, reiterated on his stand and requested BCCI to speak to PCB and voice ir concerns regarding Champions Trophy. Naqvi also went ahe and said that all or countries were willing to travel to Pakistan.
No Back Channel Diplomacy With India: Pakistan Ministry

Pakistan on Thursday said that no back channel diplomacy was going on with India after neighbouring country refused to send its cricket team for Champions Trophy to be held in February-March next year. spokesperson of Foreign Office, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, was asked questions at weekly press briefing regarding status of cricket tournament scheduled to be held in Pakistan early next year.
“re is no back channel with India to specifically discuss Champions Trophy and bilateral Cricket between Pakistan and India,” she said. She ded that furr details with regards to holding of Champions Trophy in Pakistan and participation of various teams was available with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which can share any furr details. Baloch went on to say that sports events should not be mixed with politics.
