PCB To Seek Clarity From ICC On India's Refusal To Send The Men In Blue For Champions Trophy 2025

Since they have only been informed that India will not be attending the tournament, PCB will ask the ICC for clarification on hosting the Champions Trophy. They have not heard anything regarding the hybrid model that has been suggested.

Pakistan Cricket Board will seek clarity from ICC on hosting of Champions Trophy since y have only been intimated that India will t travel for tournament but re was word on hybrid model being proposed.

PCB was told by ICC that BCCI won't send its team to Pakistan after decision was communicated to world governing body.

"re is talk about having Champions Trophy on a Hybrid Model system as of w," a reliable PCB source said.

A hybrid model was followed during Asia Cup last year, when India's matches were held in Sri Lanka while or matches were played in Pakistan.

It is being speculated that Dubai can host India's matches in tournament, which is scheduled to be held in February next year.

"An email is to be sent to ICC with vice of its legal department in which Board wanted clarifications from ICC on Indian decision," source said.

"As of w entire situation is being gauged by PCB. decision has been taken on next step. Yes PCB is in touch with government for consultation and directives if required," source ded.

source said PCB was awaiting policy guidelines from government regarding India, which will be cited to seek clarification from ICC about India's refusal to participate.

He also pointed out that re could be legal implications for ICC if Pakistan government decides to take a tough call on cricket relations with India.

"re would be legal implications from commercial partners as ICC has provided undertakings to brocasters, sponsors that all top cricket playing nations will participate in its tournaments," source.

India have t travelled to Pakistan since 2008 Mumbai terror strikes. two teams compete against each or only in ICC tournaments.
