PCB vs BCCI: How Mohsin Naqvi's PC Has Done More Bad Than Good Ahead of ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Amid all kinds of speculations over ICC Champions Trophy 2025, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi dressed press. Naqvi was hurled pertinent questions on Champions Trophy and he tried his best to give as much clarity as possible. Making Pakistan 's stand clear, Naqvi said that y will not accept ‘hybrid’ model. And for unversed, India has alrey refused to travel to Pakistan for mega event. Now what happens? PCB has asked ICC a few questions over what is India's problem in travelling across border. re is no response from ICC yet. Multiple reports claim PCB has also gone on to accuse BCCI of asking or boards to refuse travelling to Pakistan as well.

"If India has any concerns about sending ir team to Pakistan y must talk to us and we will remove m. I don't think re is any reason for India not to come to Pakistan for Champions Trophy," PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi told reporters on Monday.

IT IS ALL ABOUT MONEY, HONEY

Pakistan board knows very well that BCCI is one of biggest revenue holders with ICC. And hence for ICC to not side up with BCCI could be detrimental for game at large. Can tournament happen without India? No. If that happens, ICC or PCB will not be able to maximise revenues. 

CT 25 SCHEDULE

As per reports, ICC, in consultation with PCB, will release schedule for mega event by end of week. It would be interesting to see what eventually happens. In all probability, PCB will eventually agree to ‘hybrid’ model.
