The Wimbledon 2024 has reached its penultimate leg as the Semi Finals of the men's singles semi finals takes place as Carlos Alcaraz takes on Daniil Medvedev and Novak Djokovic takes on Lorenzo Musetti. 

For the Semi Finals, the Royal Box at Centre Court of Wimbledon graced with the presence of none other than ‘Mumbai Cha Raha’ India's T20 World Cup 2024 winning captain Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is fresh off the high of being the only captain after Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni to bring the World Cup trophy back to India. 

Rohit Sharma who has regularly been seen around football games is enjoying his well deserved time off from captaincy duties and this time he made a rare appearance to catch some high quality tennis action at Wimbledon 2024.

Rohit Sharma likely to be rested for India's Tour of Sri Lanka

Rohit Sharma has enough time to rest up and come back to the Indian fold fresh as him alongside Virat Kohli are reportedly going to be rested for India's Tour of Sri Lanka which will also be Gautam Gambhir's debut series as head coach.

The decision to rest Rohit and Virat comes as India will be playing crucial test matches against New Zealand and then away at Australia later this year.
