Premier League giants Manchester United are struggling to find form since a long time now. Let's have a look at their dismal away form in the competition.

Manchester United's form this season has gone from bad to worse this calendar year and an entry into the top-four of the Premier League seems to be difficult for the Red Devils this season. Apart from the 3-1 away win over Crystal Palace on February 2019, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not won a single match since then away from home (Loss 4, Draws 3). United seem to have a golden opportunity to break the deadlock in their next Premier League 2019-20 clash against Newcastle United.

Struggling at defence and attack
United have played seven away Premier League games since their win against Palace and have only bagged three points. Their away record is only worse than that of Tottenham's from the seventeen teams that have participated in this year's Premier League. United scored only two goals in their final four Premier League 2018-19 away games. United boss trusts youngsters like Marcus Rashford, Daniel James, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial in the attack but they haven't raised the bar yet.

United have been struggling for a long time now. They tried to solve their defensive crisis by signing Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but these players are yet to show the worth for their money. Premier League 2019-20 has marked the worst start in United's league history. Before the Arsenal clash on Monday, Solskjaer admitted that they are looking to sign a replacement for Romelu Lukaku in the coming transfer window. This season United have faced Wolves, Southampton and West Ham away from home and have failed to clinch a win in any of three (Draw 2, Lost 1).

Former United player and sports pundit Gary Neville said in a post-match interview after the West Ham game that Solskjaer will need three or four transfer windows to level up the squad to compete with the big guns in the league. He also mentioned that the United boss will be needing backing from their owners to go big in the transfer player to get their preferred player.
