Quinton de Kock to lead South Africa's T20 team in India, current skipper Faf DuPlessis misses out

Faf DuPlessis to lead Test side, DeKock named T20 skipper
However, du Plessis will continue to lead South Africa in three-Test series that follows T20s, with Temba Bavuma named his vice-captain, Cricket South Africa anunced.

"I would like to stress that Faf du Plessis remains an important part of our plans for white-ball cricket," said CSA Acting Director, Corrie van Zyl.

" T20 Series gives us last chance to have a look at our leadership and batting options as next edition of T20 World Cup is w little more than a year away which is why we have gone with an inexperienced leadership group. This is our last chance to do this before we settle on an established squad," he added.

New faces feature in South Africa's squad
Meanwhile, both T20 and Test squads will feature three uncapped players.
Pacer Anrich rtje features in both squads, batsman Bavuma, spin bowling all-rounder Bjorn Fortuin will feature in T20 squad. Wicketkeeper Rudi Second and spin-bowling all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy were handed Test caps.

"All three newcomers to Test side have more than earned ir spurs through impressive performances in last season's Four-Day Franchise competition," van Zyl said.
"As far as T20 squad is concerned, Temba Bavuma and Bjorn Fortuin were two of standout players in CSA T20 Challenge last season while rtje was outstanding in Mzansi Super League until ruled out by injury."
CSA also said Aiden Markram, unis de Bruyn and Lungi Ngidi were t considered for T20s as y will be preparing for Test series by playing in South Africa A's four-day matches against India A.
"We feel we have covered all options for conditions we are likely to encounter on sub-continent with Muthusamy and Dane Piedt, who was far and away leading wicket-taker in our Four-Day competition, providing back-up to Keshav Maharaj."

South Africa will travel to India for a three-match T20 series starting from September 15. two sides will n compete in a three-match Test series.
