'He loves fight': Rahul Dravid
“He sort of lives for it, he loves fight, he loves contest. He’s pretty competitive and aggressive as it is. You don’t want to get him more aggressive, I don’t kw how more he can get,” Rahul Dravid said on ‘Sony Ten Pit stop’ show. "In end, a lot of this stuff does t really affect players. In end, it’s a contest. y kw y have to be at top of ir games. skills have to be top class. y want to compete against someone like Virat. Virat also kws he has to be at top of game if he wants to perform against likes of Cummins, Starc, Pattinson, Hazlewood. That is a pretty good attack. He kws that as well", said ex-champion batsman while appearing on a Cricket talk show.
“So, it’s t about words, it’ about skills. It’s a skills game. players will be looking to rely on his skills, and who can perform consistently over a long period of time in a Test match, and team who does that will triumph". “I think We is trying to say that y are going to focus on that skill – and if y get that right, n y can cause him a problem. If y get it slightly wrong, n we kw what Virat could do", said former Indian captain.
