Jasprit Bumrah is back as the primary weapon for Team India

Ahead of the start of the Asia Cup 2023, Team India received a major boost in the form of Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah captained the side that took on Ireland in the T20 series and showcased the old lethal in-swing and devastating yorkers. Jasprit Bumrah was proved to be a missing weapon from the arsenal, whose absence was felt on many occasions, but since he has made his comeback, the fans want him to wreak havoc from the outset. However, Team India's head coach, Rahul Dravid, has stated that they will slowly unleash him.

"It's great to have them (Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna) back and see them bowling well. Jasprit is someone we have missed a lot in the past two years. He hasn't played much. We will ease him into it slowly. Ireland was a good opportunity to ease him in. Now we have a whole month to build that up before the World Cup. The duo's return gives us more options in the pace bowling department," he said.
