Rajasthan Royals to play two IPL 2020 games in Guwahati: Assam Finance Minister
Rajasthan Royals are set to host two of their IPL 2020 home games in Guwahati's Barsapara Stadium. Assam's Finance Minister confirmed the news on Twitter.

According to Assam's finance minister, Rajasthan Royals are all set to host two home games in Guwahati. decision was taken during a meeting between IMG Reliance, IPL governing council and Assam Cricket Association (ACA). IPL 2020 is scheduled to kick off on March 29. Rajasthan Royals would look to add some silverware to ir trophy cabinet. y last won inaugural edition in 2008.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Finance Minister, expressed his delight at Guwahati hosting a couple of IPL 2020 games. move sees youngster Riyan Parag possibly play for Rajasthan Royals on his home turf. Parag made a name for himself with his fearless approach with bat (and ball) in hand. He is expected to be a regular feature in Rajasthan Royals’ line-up in IPL 2020. Parag was also a part of victorious Team India team which won ICC U19 World Cup in 2018 under Prithvi Shaw’s leadership.
