Rashid Khan beats Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni as most searched sportsperson in India on Google
Google India's 'Year In Search 2020', announced Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan as the sixth most searched for personality by the country this year.

In a year that has been overshadowed by COVID-19 pandemic, it is intriguing to see what Google's top search trends of 2020 have been. Popular search engine Google released ir list of most searched for people, events, movies etc, for 2020 and some of results may surprise you. After 'ICC Cricket World Cup 2019' took title in last year's 'Year In Search', IPL 2020 has taken title over Coronavirus this time around. Khan has superseded likes of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli to become only sportsperson in category. This surge in popularity will doubt have some connection with Rashid's performance at Dream11 IPL 2020 where he took 20 wickets from 16 matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad side and recorded his IPL career-best figures of 3/7.

Rashid Khan joins Adelaide Strikers for BBL 2020
Rashid Khan has been retained by Adelaide Strikers for BBL 2020-21 season. Khan first became a part of team in 2017-18 season after a brilliant campaign with Sunriser Hyderabad in 2017 IPL season.
