During his incumbency as President of Delhi & District Cricket Association, Arun Jaitley is often remembered for bringing in professionalism during his BCCI tenure and strongly standing up for Delhi cricket by vouching for top cricketers in state to represent national team. Arun Jaitley was a close friend of cricketers such as Virat Kohli, encouraging and supporting m in ir pursuit of excellence. 

Arun Jaitley was closely associated with Indian cricket for a long time. late statesman was  BCCI Vice-President as well as former member of Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council. IPL 2020 ‘much-needed chaos’: Ravi Shastri

Speaking during a webinar conducted by  Observer Research Foundation, Ravi Shastri talked about vants of anuncing IPL dates and holding competition in September. former cricketer said that considering coronavirus pandemic, once IPL 2020 starts, it will bring back 'chaos', which is much needed.

Ravi Shastri is also confident that UAE will be up to task of holding IPL 2020 successfully. coach said that is a great gesture by Indian government to take cricket to UAE. Recounting his experience form 2014, Ravi Shastri talked about how his Excellency in UAE did t leave one stone unturned when IPL h gone to Gulf country as he ensured that it was a top-class tournament with public responding beautifully.

Ravi Shastri also hoped that in depressing times, IPL 2020 will be a welcome distraction for fans. Talking about pandemic, he said that world hasn’t seen anything like this since Second World War. iconic cricketer n talked about how getting back some sporting activities that will allow people to tune into ir television screens day in and day out will be much needed as it will help in lifting spirits of people.
