Team India coach Ravi Shastri recently posted his throwback im on social media which drew attention t only from fans but also Bollywood actor and 83 movie star Ranveer Singh. Ranveer Singh is playing role of former India skipper Kapil Dev in upcoming 83 movie. Deepika Padukone, real-life spouse of Ranveer Singh, will play same role in 83 movie. She will be playing Romi Bhatia Dev, Kapil Dev's wife in movie.

Ranveer Singh has been promoting 83 movie, sharing character posters of his co-stars in film. actor shared im of Dhairya Karwa as Ravi Shastri in 83 movie. While sharing look, makers describe Shastri as, " youngest player who left a mark on everyone with his Chapati shot." Ravi Shastri was just 21 years of when Indian cricket team lifted World Cup trophy in 1983.

Apart from posting his picture with coveted Indian blazer, Team India coach had previously posted ims of him spending time with his pet dogs. In one im, Ravi Shastri can be seen indulging in a team huddle with dogs and explaining something to m. However, what makes it even more interesting is that all of m, including Shastri himself, are following social distancing. In or im, one dog can be seen posing by wearing sunglasses which might be done to give a hint that it is team's captain.

Ravi Shastri backs IPL in place of T20 World Cup
Team India coach Ravi Shastri during an interview with Times of India recently said that organising a tournament like IPL (post crisis) would be easier than staging a T20 World Cup. Ravi Shastri said that IPL or a bilateral series with a touring party can be played in “one or two cities”. But same cant be said about hosting 16 international teams at T20 World Cup for a month-long international event.
