Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has returned to the training ground after a well-deserved break following India's T20 World Cup triumph in June. Jadeja, one of India's premier Test players, has begun preparations for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh , which starts on September 19.

Ravindra Jadeja starts training at NCA

The 35-year-old has started training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, as he looks to get back into peak form ahead of the crucial series.

On Saturday, Jadeja took to social media to share a couple of pictures from his training session at the NCA, signaling his readiness to switch into competitive mode. His post has created a buzz among fans, who are eagerly awaiting his return to the Test side.

Ravindra Jadeja was originally slated to play in the ongoing Duleep Trophy tournament, having been named in the India B squad. However, he withdrew from the competition just a week before the opening match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) did not provide any specific reason for his withdrawal, leading to speculation about the all-rounder’s extended break.

Nevertheless, the extra rest appears to have allowed Ravindra Jadeja to fully recover from any potential niggles and recharge ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh . Given his all-round capabilities, he remains a key figure in India's lineup, particularly in the longest format of the game. His experience with both bat and ball will be crucial for India as they aim to consolidate their position in the ICC Test Championship standings.

The upcoming Bangladesh series is set to be a significant one for India, as they look to continue their dominance in Test cricket.
