Mohammed Siraj shares his first thoughts after fastest fifer in ODI cricket
The Indian cricket team pacer Mohammed Siraj created a plethora of records in the IND vs SL Asia Cup 2023 final and believed that you only get what you have in your destiny. Before this Siraj also picked up four wickets against Sri Lanka in the India vs Sri Lanka ODI match earlier this year. Mohammed Siraj said after the end of the first innings:
"Jitna naseeb mein hota hai wahi milta, aaj mera naseeb tha (You get what's in our destiny, today it was my destiny). Feels like a dream. Last time I did the same against Sri Lanka at Trivandrum. Got four wickets early, couldn't get the five-for. Realised you get what's in your destiny. Did not try too much today. I have always looked for swing in white-ball cricket. Did not find much in the previous games. But today it was swinging, and I got more wickets with the outswinger. Wanted to make the batters drive.
