Rishabh Pant opens up on 'disheartening' situation, Chopra says 'This comes as rude shock'
As the Sonnet Cricket Club is set to move out of the Sri Venkateswara College in New Delhi, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was seen expressing his disappointment.

Sonnet Cricket Club based in Sri Venkateswara College in New Delhi and founded by Dronacharya Awardee coach Tarak Sinha can longer be able to function from institution from coming Monday. incident happened when college administration didn’t renew agreement with club. It had been operating in college since year 2000. club has produced cricketers like Indian cricketers like Rishabh Pant, LSG batsman Ayush Badoni and Mumbai Indians player Hrithik Shokeen.
Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was absolutely disheartened and said hearing news and urged administration of Sri Venkateswara College to reconsider ir decision.

"It is so disheartening to see my club that has produced so many international cricketers over years and continues to do so has been served an eviction tice. It played a major role in shaping my cricketing career and many more like me. This is like a home for all of us", Rishabh Pany said in a tweet.

"We have always followed rules set by college. I would like to request governing bodies of Venkateshwara College to reconsider this as Sonnet club is t just a club, it’s like a herit institution and a home for so many budding cricketers", Rishabh Pant furr tweeted.

Apart from Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, Shikhar Dhawan, Anjum Chopra, Ashish Nehra, Maj Prabhakar, Aakash Chopra, and Raman Lamba are some of table alumni of Sonnet Cricket Club.
