The Road Safety World Series may have hit a major speedbump as it is being reported that the tournament's Pune matches have been indefinitely postponed.

Indian cricket fans are w feeling first consequences of Coronavirus epidemic as well-received Ro Safety World Series will w be played inside closed doors while some of its matches have been postponed indefinitely. tournament began last Saturday to much fanfare at Wankhede Stium as crowds saw return of local heroes like Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag. Here are details about fate of tournament.

Ro Safety World Series to be left incomplete due to Coronavirus epidemic?

Ro Safety World Series began on March 7 at Wankhede Stium in Mumbai and n moved on to DY Patil Stium in Navi Mumbai. tournament was scheduled to move to Pune for four matches before it returned to Navi Mumbai to conclude tournament with two final matches. It is w being reported that due to Coronavirus epidemic, Maharashtra government is deciding to cancel all public garings and se cricket matches have come under rar.

tournament has been widely popular and first match saw an attendance of 26,000 fans in Mumbai. If reports are to be believed, Pune leg of tournament has been called off for w and its future remains uncertain. final two matches, which were set to happen in Navi Mumbai, may also be played without an audience.  India Legends team was doing pretty well in tournament and won both ir matches.

Virender Sehwag helped India Legends win ir first match against West Indies and in match against Sri Lanka, Irfan Pathan rose to occasion and played a match-winning kck. However, India vs. South Africa ODI at Dharmasala on Thursday is being played in front of an audience. Currently, re is heavy speculation regarding future and scheduling of IPL 2020 which is due to begin on March 29. IPL 2020's first match is set to be played at Wankhede Stium in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
