Road Safety World Series: Tendulkar, Lara to team up for T20 League

There is going to be a major cricketing reunion of sorts as some big names in cricket gear up to reunite for the upcoming Road Safety World Series. The charitable tournament is scheduled to be held in Mumbai between February 2 and 16 next year. Cricketing legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Muttiah Muralitharan will come together for the tournament. Here are more details regarding the other legends who are reportedly in line to feature at the Road Safety World Series.

Road Safety World Series: Brett Lee, Jacques Kallis rumoured to be involved

As per reports, the first season of the Road Safety World Series tournament will be played in February 2020. The tournament will be played in Mumbai. The tournament will feature the following teams - India Legends, Australia Legends, South Africa Legends, Sri Lanka Legends and West Indies Legends. The report further states that a total of 110 retired players have already confirmed their participation in the tournament. The tournament will be organised by Professional Management Group in tandem with the Road Safety Cell of the Maharashtra government. This will be the third time that Indian master blaster - Sachin Tendulkar - will return to pitch since his retirement in 2013. The 2011 ICC World Cup previously returned to play at the MCC against Rest of the World XI at Lord's in 2014 followed by three exhibition T20s in America in 2015.
