Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja were recently involved in a friendly banter during India’s training session. The incident occurred during Team India’s preparation ahead of the first Test against Bangladesh. After winning the T20I series 2-1, the Indian team is all set to face the visiting side in the upcoming two-match Test series.

In a video posted on Twitter by a leading news-daily journalist, right-handed batsman Rohit Sharma can be seen facing Ravindra Jadeja in the nets. Jadeja’s delivery struck Rohit Sharma on the front pad. Thinking that he got his wicket, the all-rounder shouted ‘yes’, to which the opener responded with “Missing leg”.

Both cricketers are part of India’s squad for the upcoming Ganguly-Durjoy series. The opening Test will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore from November 14 onwards. The two players are also likely to be part of the playing XI in a historic first-ever day-night Test in the country. The pink-ball event will be played at the Eden Gardens between November 22 and 26. The series will also form a part of the ongoing inaugural ICC World Test Championship.
