Indian cricket great Yuvraj Singh took to Instagram on Monday to post behind-the-scenes photos of a video shoot for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League. The caption depicted Yuvraj's excitement towards being part of the competition which begins on November 14. The post also had some interesting comments, to say the least.
Yuvraj announces his arrival to T10 cricket
Yuvraj Singh expressed his delight on joining the Maratha Arabians in the third edition of the T10 League. He also tagged the team-owner, actor Sohail Khan, in the post that he made to Instagram. Yuvraj's devout fan-following showered him with praise and excitement in the post's comment section.
Among the slew of comments were three which stood out. One was from cricketer Praveen Kumar who complimented Yuvraj's attitude for not changing over the years. The second comment that stood out was from no other than 'The Hitman' Rohit Sharma. Sharma proceeded to banter with Yuvraj by calling the photos "Boring!". Fans seemed to get a chuckle out of the comment which has 570 likes on its own. The final comment that stood out was from Yuvraj's wife, actress Hazel Keech. "Wow Yuvraj, you're really good looking. Are you single?", Keech commented.
A new chapter for Yuvraj's cricketing career
After announcing his retirement from all BCCI cricket in June, Yuvraj announced his interest in playing global T20 leagues. Soon enough, he was in Canada playing in the Global T20 League. Yuvraj will now play the T10 format in the third iteration of the T10 League in Abu Dhabi. Yuvraj is part of the Maratha Arabians and will be playing alongside players like Chris Lynn, Dwayne Bravo, and Lasith Malinga. The team will begin its campaign against the Northern Warriors in the first match of the tournament on November 15. The tournament will go on till November 24.
