Rohit Sharma Opens Up On Mohammad Shami's Comeback

re has been an air of confusion about Shami's injury and his recovery. His last appearance for India came in finals of 2023 ODI World Cup which India lost against Aussies.

Shami was due for a Test comeback during Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but as of w it looks as if he is running against clock to regain full fitness. Ahead of IND vs NZ series, Rohit Sharma was particularly asked about Shami's status to which he had a very clear response.

'It's difficult to make a call on Mohammad Shami for Australia series. He had a swelling in his knees. That put him back a little bit and had to start again. He's at NCA, we don't want to bring undercooked Shami to Australia, but fingers crossed', said Rohit.
