'Can't Overturn It': Rohit Sharma Hits Back At The Umpires Over Controversial Rishabh Pant Dismissal

New Zealand have defeated Rohit Sharma and Co. 3-0 on Indian soil. With this loss, India have also slipped to the second spot in the WTC Points Table.

Pant at one point in time threatened to take match away from Kiwis. Delhi Capitals skipper scored 64 runs off 57 deliveries. Pant stepped out to defend a turning delivery from Ajaz Patel which he believed deflected off his pads and landed in Tom Blundell's hands.

on-field umpire felt that Pant was t out, but Kiwis were confident and used ir only remaining DRS. After decision was referred, 3rd umpire felt that ball had deflected off Pant's bat and gave him out. decision left Pant dejected who dded in disagreement and walked back to dressing room.

After match, Rohit Sharma was particularly asked about Rishabh Pant's dismissal and he had a very blunt reaction to it. 'What I kw if re is conclusive evidence, third umpire can't overturn it. It was an unfortunate dismissal. What we want is consistency from umpires. At one point, it felt like Rishabh will see us through', said Sharma
