Rohit Sharma has revealed story behind his jersey number 45. 45 has been Rohit's jersey number ever since he had first burst on to scene in 2007 and it continues to be his jersey number to date.

During his recent social media interaction with fans, one of his die-hard fans asked what is story behind his jersey number 45 to which 'Hitman' replied by saying that it was his mor who had asked him to take that number.

“re’s such story behind number 45. It’s just that my mom asked me to take that number and I didn’t argue. She just said it will be very lucky for you so I took number,” said Rohit Sharma.
