India's stand-in captain Rohit Sharma lost his cool after an error on the giant screen during the second T20I against Bangladesh in Rajkot on Thursday. Rohit was infuriated after Bangladesh batsman Soumya Sarkar was stumped by Rishabh Pant off a Yuzvendra Chahal delivery, but the giant screen had a glitch, making the third umpire give a 'not out'. The on-field umpires later were informed by the 4th official that it was an error and Soumya Sarkar was out. Rohit was not amused and cited his displeasure.

Rohit Sharma infuriated after Soumya Sarkar was adjudged not out

India won the toss and put Bangladesh into bat after suffering a shock defeat in the first T20I in Delhi. Rishabh Pant messed up a crucial stumping off Liton Das but redeemed himself after running Das out and stumping Soumya Sarkar for 30. Captain Mahmudullah scored a crucial 30 to guide Bangladesh to a respectable 153/6 in their 20 overs.

Captain Rohit Sharma leads from the front

Chasing 154, Rohit Sharma led the charge from the front, smashing the Bangladeshi bowlers to all parts of the ground. The Sharma-Dhawan alliance put on a 118-run stand in just 65 deliveries. Rohit was dismissed for 85 off just 43 balls, which was laced with 6 fours and 6 sixes.

Rohit Sharma: First Indian to 100 T20Is

Earlier in the day, Rohit became the first Indian cricketer to play 100 T20Is for India. He has scored 2537 runs in the format, the most by any batsman. Rohit Sharma is the only cricketer to breach the 2500-run mark in T20Is. He will look to continue his stellar form in the 3rd T20I at Nagpur. The hosts lost the first T20I in Delhi but bounced back in Rajkot on Thursday to level the series 1-1. Rohit would hope that his team brings their A-game on the table while they face neighbours Bangladesh on Sunday.
