Rohit Sharma reveals future plans
Rohit Sharma, who has been a cornerstone of India's cricketing success across all formats in the past few years, has now revealed his future plans in other formats. He made the announcement during a promotional event in the United States on Sunday.
When asked about his retirement plans, Rohit Sharma's response provided a glimpse into his mindset and future intentions. "I just said it. I don’t look that far ahead. So clearly, you will be seeing me play at least for a while," he stated, leaving fans both relieved and curious about what lies ahead for the cricketing icon.
This announcement came just ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy, marking a significant turning point in Rohit Sharma’s illustrious career. Rohit is likely to lead the team in the 50-over tournament if India participates. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether India will travel to Pakistan, the host country for the 2025 Champions Trophy. The tournament may be held in a hybrid model, similar to the 2023 Asia Cup.
