At Kanpur's Green Park Stadium, the second Test of India and Bangladesh 's two-match series is now underway. After a delayed owing to a damp outfield, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to take the field first on Friday, September 27.
This is a momentous choice because it is the first time in 60 years a captain has chosen to bowl first after the toss at this location. The last incidence of this occurred in 1964 during a Test between India and England when MAK Pataudi made a same decision.
