Spotlight will be on the Indian team when they take on Bangladesh in the Test series at home. Rohit Sharma would be leading the side and expectations would be high. The two Tests would be a part of the ongoing cycle of the World Test Championship and hence Rohit is leaving no stone unturned. Rohit in Recent Times

Rohit recently led the Indian side to the T20 World Cup crown in the USA and the West Indies. He played a few crucial knocks during the marquee event giving India starts. Following the T20 WC triumph, Rohit retired from the T20I format. He was then part of the Indian side against Sri Lanka. The Indian Test captain would be playing the red-ball format after a long time as he also skipped the ongoing Duleep Trophy matches. There is much speculation over Rohit's IPL future. While some feel that he will continue to be part of the Mumbai Indians franchise, some others reckon the MI side may release him.

What's next for Team India? 

After the series against Sri Lanka, the Indian team would now host Bangladesh and New Zealand before travelling down south to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. A big cricketing season lies ahead.
