Rohit Sharma to KKR or LSG? Irfan Pathan's BIG Prediction For MI Star Ahead of IPL 2025 Mega Auction

IPL 2024: With a few months to go for much-awaited IPL mega-auction, all focus is around Rohit Sharma . former Mumbai Indians captain is being speculated that he would be released. While it is not confirmed, speculations are wild. Amid all speculation, former India cricketer Irfan Pathan has gone on record and opined. As per Pathan, re would be a bidding war in case he is in auction. Pathan reckons experience of leing sides is going to work in his favour at auction.

What Irfan Said

"Jung hogi Jung (re will be a huge bidding war for Rohit Sharma I am telling you). He brings one special thing with him and that is 'captaincy experience'. Every team will wish to have a captain like him.

"In form of Rohit, y will get an Indian captain and refore will be able to make good use of Impact Player rule as having an overseas captain at times forces teams to keep him in playing XI irrespective of his performance," Irfan said while exclusively speaking to India TV.

Despite all that Irfan said about Rohit, fact is that Indian captain has h a woeful IPL 2024. But again, Irfan believes that would not be such a problem. 

"Not at all, We all know what Hitman Rohit can do with bat. Yes, one thing that each team will keep a keen eye on, will be his fitness. If Rohit Sharma is FIT, he will be HIT," Irfan ded furr.

What's Next For Rohit? 

Rohit would soon be seen leing Indian side in Tests versus Banglesh . He would be an integral part of side and fortunes of his team would majorly depend on him.
