The Indian cricket team is gifted with some of the best of the generation in Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah. And hence to see them skip domestic games hurt former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar. The stylish former cricketer pointed out the number of games the national cricket team has played over the past five years and the amount of games the three big stars have featured in. The stats presented by Manjrekar highlights the percentage of games these cricketers have played. 

For example, Rohit has featured in 59 per cent of the games, while Kohli has been present in 61 and Bumrah in 34. Manjrekar's tweet read: “India has played 249 international matches in the last 5 years. Rohit has played only 59% of those. Virat 61 % & Bumrah 34%. I see them as well rested India players. Could have been selected for the Duleep trophy.”

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who were part of the Sri Lanka series are likely to be seen during the Bangladesh Tests. Bumrah was not part of the SL series and hence it would be interesting to see he is available for the series against Bangladesh or not.

India's Upcoming Series

India has a number of big games coming up in the next few months where they host Bangladesh and New Zealand at home and then travel to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. All the Tests that India play would be part of the World Test Championship cycle in which India are currently on top. Australia find themselves in the second spot.
