Sachin Tendulkar condemns racism at SCG Test, says bat & ball recognises only talent

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar came forward in support of Team India's frontline pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj after duo was allegedly subjected to racial abuse by a section of unruly crowd in ongoing third Test match at Sydney Cricket Ground.
'Cricket never discriminates': Sachin Tendulkar
Taking to micro-blogging site, Master Blaster wrote that sport is meant to unite and t divide anyone and that gentleman's game never discriminates. Giving furr clarification on same, Little Master added that bat and ball recognize talent of person holding m and t race, colour, religion or nationality. Furrmore, 2011 World Cup winner added that those who do t understand this have place in a sporting arena.

Siraj once again abused by Australian crowd
Speedster Mohammed Siraj had complained of being subjected to racial abuses yet again on Day Four of third Test. At end of 85th over of Australia's second innings, Siraj walked up to umpires along with stand-in Test captain Ajinkya Rahane to report incident following which police asked spectators responsible to leave stand. Siraj was subjected to racism from spectators at SCG while he was standing at boundary rope after completing 85th over.

As per sources, four spectators were reportedly asked to move back and sit furr up stands after Indian team complained to umpires.

This was second such incident after a similar one was reported by Indian team on Saturday i.e. on Day 3 of ongoing Test match.

Cricket Australia issues statement on racism in ongoing SCG Test
“Cricket Australia has reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy towards discriminatory behaviour in all forms following alleged racial abuse of members of Indian cricket squad by a section of crowd at Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday,” read statement.
