Mumbai cricketer Suryakumar Yav dazzled during his side’s triumphant run in recently-concluded Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL 2020) season. Despite an impressive outing with bat (480 runs in 16 matches), right-hander was excluded from India’s touring party for upcoming series in Australia. Apparently, 30-year-old received some words of encourment from Mumbai and Team India legend Sachin Tendulkar, just a few days after his omission from India squ for Australia tour.

Suryakumar Yav recalls text mess he received from Sachin Tendulkar
During an interview with Indian Express, Suryakumar Yav revealed an inspirational and poetic mess he received from former Indian captain and batting icon Sachin Tendulkar. mess in contention was also vice received by ‘Master Blaster’ from his late coach Ramakant Achrekar. Suryakumar Yav said that Sachin Tendulkar encourd him to keep pursuing game with a moving mess that res: “If you are honest and sincere to game, game will look after you”.
Yav revealed that 200-Test veteran also told him that his dream of playing for India is “around corner” and his latest omission might very well be his “final hurdle”.
