Sachin Tendulkar, who has credited Achrekar for learning ABCD's of game, took to Twitter to post a heartfelt tribute to his guru and wrote that Achrekar will always remain in hearts.

Last month, I met Sir along with some of his students and spent some time toger. We shared a laugh as we remembered old times.
