Sachin Tendulkar shares Bachchan dialogue that gives him goosebumps
Former Indian cricket captain Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Amitabh Bachchan after he was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award by the I&B Ministry

Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan was on Tuesday honoured with the biggest award in Indian cinema - Dadasaheb Phalke Award by the I&B Ministry. Former Indian cricket captain Sachin Tendulkar on Wednesday took to Twitter and congratulated Big B over the achievement. In his tweet, The Master Blaster also prayed that Amitabh Bachchan continue to win hearts across the world with his acting and talent. Sachin Tendulkar further shared a dialogue from Amitabh Bachchan's classic Bollywood film Agneepath (1990), which he said gives him goosebumps even today.
"Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, Poora Naam. Baap Ka Naam Dinanath Chauhan, Maa Ka Naam Suhasini Chauhan. Gaon Mandwa. Umar 36," Sachin Tendulkar wrote. The legendary cricketer praised Big B, saying "there will be many characters but Shahenshah will be only one" (Kirdar anek but Shahenshah bas ek).

Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Amitabh Bachchan
I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday announced that Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan has been selected unanimously for the Dadasahab Phalke award. In his tweet, the Union Minister regarded the Bollywood actor as the legend who entertained and inspired for two generations, extending heartiest congratulations to him.

Congratulatory wishes for Big B
From Bollywood to sports fraternity, an array of celebrities expressed happiness and extended congratulatory messages for Amitabh Bachchan after he was bestowed with the honour. The actor also took to Twitter and expressed gratitude over the honour. He said that there is a paucity of words searching for response over the generosity he received from across the arena.

Rajinikanth congratulated Amitabh Bachchan by saying that he ‘richly deserved this commendable honour’.
Lata Mangeshkar, who was honoured with the award in 1989, congratulated Bachchan, saying that she is immensely delighted over the announcement.
