Fondly, known as Jimmy, Anderson is a stalwart of the game and will go down as one of the greatest ever to play the game of cricket. England are currently taking on West Indies in the first Test of the three-match series which was also Jimmy's last game for the three lions. The English stalwart finishes his stellar career with 704 wickets with 188 Test matches.

Prior to his last Test match, Anderson was asked about the best batsman he has ever bowled to. The English great without any hesitation mentioned Sachin Tendulkar's name. Anderson dismissed Sachin a total of 9 times in his career. Talking about the greats of the game, Anderson is the third highest wicket-taker in the history of Test matches. With 704 wickets, Anderson is only behind greats like Shane Warne and Muthiah Muralidaran.
