Sachin Tendulkar's name given to a new species of spider by a huge fan
Sachin Tendulkar's name was given to a newly discovered species of spider by a researcher who also happens to be an avid fan of the legendary batsman.

Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the best batsman in world cricket as he holds numerous records in the gentleman's game. He started his cricketing career at a tender age of 16 back in 1989 when India had toured Pakistan. At such a young age, Sachin had to face the likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and others who had comprised of a fierce bowling unit back then. To date, the Master Blaster holds the most number of centuries in both Tests and One Day Internationals and at the same time, he remains the top-run getter in both the formats as well. Now, a newly discovered species of spider has been named after the legendary cricketer.
Marengo sachintendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar has so many fans all over the world. Then there is this fan who has happened to name a newly discovered species of a spider after the Master Blaster himself. It has been named as 'Marengo sachintendulkar'. The person who has named the spider on the Little Master's name is Dhruv Prajapati who is a researcher from Ahmedabad. As per reports, Prajapati is a research scholar pursuing a Ph.D in spider taxonomy with the Gujarat Ecological Education & Research (GEER) Foundation and at the same time is also an avid fan of Sachin Tendulkar. While speaking to a daily publication, Prajapati said that the species of spider which he had named as Marengo sachintendulkar is found in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat.
Sachin Tendulkar hails Deepak Chahar and Team India
After India had registered a 30-run win against Bangladesh in the third and final T20I which was also a decider at the VCA Stadium, Nagpur on Sunday, Sachin Tendulkar took to the micro-blogging site and congratulated Deepak Chahar for his exceptional bowling performance. Tendulkar then added that Chahar had bowled very smartly and used his variations well to pick up crucial wickets at crucial stages. He then gave a special mention to Shivam Dube, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul as well.
