Yuvraj Plays His Part by Lending His Voice to Dhoni
In fact, exactly on this day 12 years back, Yuvraj had scripted India's first World Cup 20Twenty victory (Sept 24, 2007) giving his captain, MS Dhoni, the first big gift, the World Cup. Its no coincidence that Yuvraj played the biggest part in Dhoni's Men in the Blue's 2011 World Cup triumph where he was adjudged the man of the series. Again Yuvraj is playing his part -- this time lending his voice to Dhoni's continuance in the Indian team. On the inconsistency of Rishab Pant, who is being seen as his replacement, Yuvraj said "He is a talent and needs to be spoken to and somebody needs to get the best out of him. Somebody should put a hand around his shoulder and give him the much-needed confidence. Criticising him is not the solution but I’m very keen to see who speaks to him and helps him understand better. There is no point in comparing him to MS Dhoni. It has taken many years to become Dhoni."
