Ahead of ODI World Cup, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has shared some strategies to contain Suryakumar Yadav's aggressive batting against bowlers in the shortest format of the game. In the third T20I match against the West Indies, Suryakumar played a remarkable innings, scoring 83 runs off just 44 balls at a strike rate of 188.63.
Sanjay shared his insights on Twitter, suggesting a tactic to contain Suryakumar's onslaught. Sanjay said the only way to contain Suryakumar's 'carnage' is to bowl full deliveries right up to him. He further suggested bowlers to force Surya to play toward long-on or long-off, against the pace.

Despite this win, the hosts maintain a 2-1 lead in the five-match series, with the final two matches scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Lauderhill, Florida.

India vs West Indies, 3rd T20I recap
West Indies captain Rowan Powell led his team to a total of 159/5 after electing to bat first at the toss. Brandon King was the top scorer with 42 runs, while Powell contributed an unbeaten 40 off just 19 balls. In response, India achieved 164/3 in 17.5 overs with Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma doing the bulk of the scoring.

Following the early dismissals of India's openers Yashasvi Jaiswal (1) and Shubman Gill (6), Suryakumar Yadav, the ICC world's No. 1 T20I batter, emerged as the standout performer. Tilak Varma, with his unbeaten 49, was at the crease when the decisive runs were scored by skipper Hardik Pandya.
Among the bowlers, Kuldeep Yadav stood out for India, securing figures of 3 for 28 in his quota of four overs, while Alzarri Joseph took 2 for 25 for the West Indies. Suryakumar was named the player of the match thanks to his explosive batting for India in the middle order.
