The young guns of Team India are currently busy playing the IND vs ZIM T20I series. The 'men in blue' who are stationed in Zimbabwe were nothing short of exceptional in the second T20I of the series. India defeated Zimbabwe by 100 runs and now the series stands at 1-1. After Zimbabwe defeated India in first T20I of the series, there were a lot of talks about the youngsters and their performance, but come the second T20I, they answered their critics in some style.
T20 World Cup Winning Trio Joins Team India in Zimbabwe
Much to Shubman Gill and the Indian contingency's respite, the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube have joined the Indian team. All the three mentioned players were a part of Team India's T20 World Cup winning campaign. Though Shivam played all the matches of the tournament, Samson and Jaiswal couldn't get a chance. The three of them, after the World Cup met the Prime Minister of India and attended the victory parade along with the team and have now landed in Zimbabwe for national duty.
The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) shared a video on their official X (formerly known as Twitter) account and documented the trio's first day at Team India's net session. All of them have started training for the ongoing series and now it will be interesting to see if they can make a case for themselves and be included in the playing XI when India lock horns with Zimbabwe in the third T20I which is scheduled to be played at the Harare Sports Club, Harare.

Abhishek Sharma with his batting capabilities and brutal power hitting had lit up the IPL this year. His impressive show earned him a maiden India call up. The youngster failed in his first T20I but come the second match, he left Zimbabwe begging for answers. The SRH youngster scored a staggering 100 off 47 balls which helped India register a total of 234 runs in their quota of 20 overs.
