Sehwag trains sons of Pulwama Martyrs, Netizens laud his efforts

Former India batsman Virender Sehwag is quite active on social media for his witty comments. Recently, he shared photos of him training the kids of martyred soldiers from this year's Pulwama attacks at the Virender Sehwag International School. He said that it was his privilege to train ‘sons of heroes’ in his school.
Sehwag captioned the picture as “Son of Heroes! What a privilege to be able to have these two at @SehwagSchool and have the fortune to contribute to their lives. Batsman - Arpit Singh s/o Pulwama Shaheed Ram Vakeel & Bowler- Rahul Soreng s/o Pulwama Shaheed Vijay Soreng. Few things can beat this happiness!”

Netizens laud Sehwag
40 CRPF jawans were martyred in the terror attack in South Kashmir’s district Pulwama on February 14, 2019. Sehwag, known for his unwavering patriotism, took it upon himself to train the kids at his school. Fans all over the country appreciated Sehwag’s efforts. Netizens lauded Sehwag’s gesture and encouraged him to take the initiative further.

Sehwag is known as one of the most destructive batsmen to have ever played the game of cricket. 'The Nawab of Najafgarh' scored more than 8,000 runs in both Tests and One Day Internationals. He also occasionally bowled part-time off-spin, taking a total of 136 wickets in his international career. Sehwag retired from all forms of cricket in October 2015.
