Champions Trophy 2025: The future of the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy feels uncertain and dismal at this point in time. Pakistan had been bestowed with the hosting rights of the Champions Trophy, but India have clearly refused to travel for the tournament. Earlier this week, the Pakistan Cricket Board had confirmed that the BCCI had written to the ICC and had refused to visit their country. The ICC is currently exploring few options so that the tournament can be conducted seamlessly.

Several reports had emerged that one of the SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) is being considered for the tournament to be conducted, but there is still no official word on it. The PCB has reportedly downright rejected the idea of hosting the upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy in a 'Hybrid Model' and that has made matters even worse for them. India are a cricketing powerhouse, in many ways, a juggernaut of the game, and if they pull out of the event, it will cause huge losses for the PCB and the ICC
