Things have not gone well for Pakistan in the ongoing Tests versus Bangladesh in Rawalpindi. On Sunday, there was another moment that left the Pakistan captain Shan Masood red-faced. He was standing at short-cover where he dropped a sitter. The catch drop by Masood on Day three of the Test left his own teammates disappointed. Hasan Mahmud was a touch early into the shot and that ensured he could not keep the ball along the ground, the top-edge went straight to Masood and he grasped it. Khurram Shahzad, who was the bowler on that occasion had his hands on his head in disappointment.

The catch DROP

Here is how fans reacted on social space over the drop:

Despite the opening day being ruined by rain, the game promises to yield a result. At the moment, Pakistan are nine for two in their second essay and they have a 21-run lead.

Earlier, Litton Das with 138 was the star of the show for Bangladesh. Litton and Mehidy Hasan Miraz led a Bangladesh fightback in the second test, overshadowing Pakistan fast bowler Khurram Shahzad’s maiden five-wicket haul on Sunday.

Litton laced his attacking 138 with 13 fours and two sixes while Mehidy made an equally impressive 78 that propelled Bangladesh to 262 after Shahzad's early burst had left the tourists reeling at 26-6 inside the first hour on Day 3.

The penultimate day is about to begin but there are chances of rain playing spoilsport. Fans would hope rain stays away and there is a full day of cricket as the game is well-poised.
