He is still playing incredibly well: Shane Watson on MS Dhoni

Shane Watson has come forward and said that his CSK skipper MS Dhoni is still playing incredibly well and that it is MSD's call as to when he needs to retire.

Former Australia cricketer and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Shane Watson on Monday said it was up to legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni to take a call on his retirement though "he is still playing incredibly well". 

"He has still got skill. But it is down to him to decide. He still moves incredibly well, runs hard between wickets and has beautiful hands. Whatever he does, it will be right thing because he kws what lies ahe," Watson told reporters on sidelines of a scholarship distribution event at Velammal school.

Watson also heaps praises on Kohli 

burly Aussie all-rounder also praised Virat Kohli's captaincy and said he has done a great job with Indian team."He (Kohli) has done a great job with Indian team. He has been playing so well in all formats. Whatever he is doing right w is certainly working and team is responding to his leership," he ded. Asked if India could dominate in manner done by Australian sides of past led by Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting, he said "it is going to be hard to replicate..but re is reason why India can't do it." 

"re is doubt that India has got depth in all facets... batting, bowling and fielding. depth in Indian cricket is incredibly strong. It has got luxury of having someone like a Rohit Sharma opening batting and scoring lots of runs. depth in Indian cricket is incredible... I am sure this team can win away from home as well."

Watson on Australia, Smith & Warner

Watson also said Australia was doing well and h depth and felt team was stronger following return of Steve Smith and David Warner from ball-tampering bans." Australian team has h its issues in last year or so. w that Steve Smith and David Warner have come back and settled well, it has got a very strong team. re is a really good .3 in Marnus Labuschagne, who did a great job during Ashes. fast bowlers are very good and re is depth in department and Nathan Lyon are performing too. We have got strong depth," he ded.About his batting with a bloodied knee during IPL 2019 final against Mumbai Indians which CSK lost, veteran all-rounder said he wasn't really aware of it.

"I wasn't really aware of it. You don't worry about something which you don't kw. All I thought about was what score was and how many runs we needed to get," he ded.
