Shantha Rangaswamy resigns from CAC after Conflict of Interest notice
Former India captain Shantha Rangaswamy has stepped down from her position as a member of the CAC and ICA after being served a Conflict of Interest notice

Former India captain Shantha Rangaswamy has stepped down from her position as a member of Cricket visory Committee (CAC) and director of Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) after being served a Conflict of Interest tice by BCCI Ethics Officer DK Jain. Shantha Rangaswamy, who was a member of CAC along with Kapil Dev and Anshuman Gaekw, sent her resignation letter to Committee of ministrators (CoA) and Board's CEO, Rahul Johri via email in early hours on Sunday. "I have or plans so have decided to move on. CAC was anyway meeting once in a year or once in two years so I did t understand conflict," Rangaswamy told PTI. "It was an hour to be on CAC committee. It will be tough to find suitable former cricketers for any ministrative role in current scenario (conflict of interest). ICA I would have resigned anyway before elections were held. So it was a matter of time," she ded.

Shantha Rangaswamy steps down from CAC
BCCI Ethics Officer D K Jain on Saturday h sent a tice to CAC, asking former cricketers who picked current India coach to respond by October 10 to Conflict of Interest allegations leveled against m. MPCA life member Sanjiv Gupta h filed complaint against trio who picked Ravi Shastri as he coach in August. As per BCCI constitution, individual can hold more than one post at same time. In complaint, Gupta has claimed that CAC members don multiple cricketing roles. He wrote that 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil is conflicted as he is a commentator, owner of a floodlight company, member of Indian Cricketers Association, besides his CAC role. Likewise, Gupta alleged that Gaekw too is conflicted as he owns an acemy and is a member of BCCI Affiliation Committee. Shantha Rangaswamy is alleged to be conflicted because of her multiple roles with CAC and ICA. CAC h also picked women's he coach W V Raman in December but at that time it was an -hoc committee. Shastri was a re-appointed for a two-year period, ending with 2021 T20 World Cup in India. This is Shastri's fourth stint with national team, having served briefly as Cricket Manr (2007 tour of Banglesh), Team Director (2014-2016) and he coach (2017-2019).

Rahul Dravid’s conflict of interest
Rahul Dravid deposed himself before Ethics Officer to explain charges filed against him. complaint was filed by MPCA member Sanjeev Gupta who h stated that inste of completely resigning from his position at India Cements, Indian batting legend h only taken a leave of absence. Dravid, however, found some support from Committee of ministrators (CoA) he Vid Rai, who stated that a leave of absence from an organization cant be seen as a conflict with that person’s current employment position. A BCCI official spoke to PTI about matter. He said, " CoA chief h written a te before deposition that y feel if Dravid has taken a Leave of Absence, n he is t in conflict. He cited examples of former RBI Goverr Rajan, who took leave of absence from his teaching role at University of Chicago".
