Dhawan said that it would be a crucial aspect of improving the quality of batsmanship on display. He further added that that timing was very important and having that on data was very useful. He went on to say if he was batting and he got to know the bat speed and the speed at which he was hitting the maximum sixes, then that will help him to prepare accordingly.
Dhawan also spoke about the backlift as he said it should ideally come from the first slip region, so with this, you would be certain that where exactly it was coming from. He added that there would be clarity and no need to guess as data was very important and a crucial part of the game. He said that it would help him in his batting.
