The Welsh Fire scored an impressive 165/3 in their innings of play, with 65 runs coming from starter Hayley Mathews. In retaliation, the Southern Braves made a solid start due to a promising connection between Smriti and Danielle Wyatt that resulted in 96 runs off 58 balls.
