Sourav Ganguly, Jay Shah set to continue leading BCCI post December 9

Senior advocate PS Narasimha indicated that more than one case will be heard before the verdict is delivered regarding Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah's future.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah could see mselves hold onto ir current positions following reports about Supreme Court deciding to hear only those cases which can be resolved in High Court. Earlier, various reports h emerged that fate of duo was to be decided on December 9 by Supreme Court.

Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah could get an extension as BCCI president 

Back in July, it was reported that, BCCI h me a plea about allowing cricketing body to modify its constitution. modification is intended to enable Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah to remain in ir positions as BCCI President and Secretary respectively inste of going on a mandatory cooling-off period.

According to latest report by ABP Live, Amicus Curiae and senior vocate PS Narasimha indicated that more than one case will be heard before verdict is delivered. Narasimha said that a part of hearing will end on December 9 and a final hearing will be held shortly reafter. He ded that on December 9, issues to be resolved by High Court will be heard, which is about inter-state dispute of state cricket associations.

It will t be more than formation of states, it will be about it, as some members are t being given permission while ors are being expelled from (unions). He furr ded that out of cases filed in BCCI reforms and which can be decided by High Courts, only a few cases will be heard on December 9.
