Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been taking steps to ensure that Team India players do not miss out on playing domestic cricket. Cricket Board has been ensuring same, and y took up strict action against ones who did not follow amends. A former India cricketer has welcomed decision to prioritize red-ball domestics among ones who are available to play.

Suresh Raina Welcomes BCCI's Decision to Feature Team India Stars in Duleep Trophy Tournament
Suresh Raina was in interaction with ANI at a Legends League Cricket Event, where he applauded BCCI's decision to prioritize domestic cricket. Raina feels that top players taking part in Duleep Trophy tournament is a nice initiative by Cricket Board. He also expressed his thoughts on India's chances against Banglesh, saying that y cannot take visiting side lightly due to ir fine spin bowling arsenal and players performing well.
"Now, a team for Tests will be formed. Top players playing Duleep Trophy is a nice initiative by BCCI. You get to know a lot of things when you play red-ball cricket.

"You cannot take Banglesh lightly as y have a fine spin bowling attack and some good players who have done well for a long time. This series will be a fine match practice for tour to Australia," Suresh Raina said.

Duleep Trophy will commence India's domestic cricket season, and tournament will feature Team India superstars like Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and many more. players' performance will help BCCI selectors determine squ for upcoming Test series against Banglesh at home. Before tournament's commencement, it was revealed that India all-rounder Ravindra Jeja h been released from team. Moreover, Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik will also miss out on tournament's first-round matches because of illness and have been replaced. But re is no word on Jeja's release.
red-ball tournament will commence on September 5, 2024, with matches taking place in Anantapur, Andhra Presh and M. Chinnaswamy Stium in Bengaluru.
