The Revival Of Mohammad Shami! Pacer Included In Playing XI for 3rd T20I vs ENG
Team India pacer Mohammad Shami has been named as a part of the Playing XI in the 3rd T20I match against England at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. After being benched in the first two T20Is, Shami finally gets a chance to don the iconic India blue. The returning India pacer would be replacing Arshdeep Singh in the squad, who has been rested from the contest.
Shami, who last played for India in the 2023 ODI World Cup final, was sidelined for more than a year due to an ankle surgery and later faced a setback due to issues with his left knee. It hampered his chances to be a part of the New Zealand Test series and the Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia.
While India announce one change in their playing XI, England have made no changes in their squad.
