Ahead of the start of the India vs Bangladesh 1st Test, BCCI has made some discernible changes to the Duleep Trophy squads. All the players except Sarfaraz Khan, who will be resuming duties for Team India against Bangladesh have been relieved from the Duleep Trophy commitment. Thus, it marks the end of Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant , and Axar Patel's stint in the Duleep Trophy 2024. They will be on board the flight to Chennai, where the preparatory camp has been set up and will commence on September 12. The IND vs BAN 1st Test will begin on September 19.

Team India Members Re-Called for Series Against Bangladesh

India A squad will see off KL Rahul , Dhruv Jurel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Akash Deep, and captain Shubman Gill ahead of the round 2 of the Duleep Trophy. Consequently, Pratham Singh, Akshay Wadkar, SK Rasheed, Aaqib Khan, and Shams Mulani will come as the replacements in the squad. Mayank Agarwal has been named the captain of the India A.

Likewise, India B will witness the departure of Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Rinku Singh and Suyash Prabhudesai will enter as the substitutes in the squad. Yash Dayal, who has received his maiden India call-up will leave the dais for Himanshu Mantri to fill in India B.

As for India C, no changes have been ordered in the squad. Suryakumar Yadav , who is recuperating from an injury has been rendered with more time to regain fitness. He is expected to join India C. Axar Patel will join Team India from India C, and Nishant Sindhu will replace him.
